It starts small. One email, just to save time. Then a birthday card. Then one Thanksgiving, somebody hears themselves say “delve” out loud.

We call it AI slop: writing that comes out of an AI tool still sounding like an AI tool. It's polished and confident and sounds like no one in particular. And it's turning up in inboxes, group chats and wedding vows all across the country.

It can happen to anyone. It is not your fault. AI is a wonderful tool, and you should keep using it. Just don't let it do the talking for you.
